Sam Dasilva is an Associate Software Engineer at Red Hat focused on high-performance infrastructure for AI, HPC, and telecommunications workloads on OpenShift. His work enables GPU-to-GPU communication across AI factory environments, spanning NVIDIA ConnectX-8 and BlueField-3 DPUs, NVIDIA Spectrum-X fabric, NVIDIA DSX Air, rack-scale AI systems, and the SR-IOV Network Operator. A former OPI LFX mentee, Sam contributed the DPU Operator upstream and extended it to vanilla Kubernetes with multi-distribution immutable DPU images.
